This is the first event Parkland Crossing has hosted like this. Our walk will be on Main Street for maximum visibility. Join us to raise awareness of homelessness in our community and help raise funds for the construction of new affordable housing.

Between 6:00 and 8:00 pm a warm, light meal will be served to all walkers and volunteers.
Registration opens at 4:00 pm. All walkers must check-in and sign a waiver form before participating.

Note: Walkers who raise $150 (adults) or $75 (youth aged 13-17) do NOT have to pay the $25 registration fee.
Route Options include:
Rest stops will be available on all routes.
Maps will be available at the Welcome Desk. All routes will be well signed.
Route marshalls, rest stop attendants, and sweep vehicle drivers will be available for support along the route.
All walkers 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Come prepared while keeping an eye on the expected weather.

Parkland Crossing currently has 20 apartments and 34 dorm rooms. All of our rentals fall under the Province of Manitoba guidelines for affordable housing. The money raised in this event will be used on building 4 new apartments in our facility

Parkland Crossing - 220 Whitmore Avenue West to Dauphin Friendship Centre - 210 First Avenue NE and return to Parkland Crossing. Stay on Main Street as much as possible.
